Article processing charges (APC)
APC waiver until December 2028
To support global academic development and encourage high-quality submissions, all Article Processing Charges (APCs) for journals under ABS Research Academy are fully waived until:

- Authors are not required to pay APCs for accepted articles
- Articles will continue to receive full editorial, peer-review, publication, hosting, and DOI support services
Standard APC policy
Following the waiver period, the standard APC for all ABS Research Academy journals is currently:

If APC policies or fees change in the future, authors and partner institutions will be officially notified through the journal websites and author guidelines.
Waiver and sponsorship policy
50% APC waiver for low-income countries
ABS Research Academy is committed to equitable and inclusive publishing opportunities.
A flat 50% APC waiver may be granted to first authors or corresponding authors affiliated with low-income countries according to internationally recognized classifications, including:
- World Bank country classifications
- United Nations development indicators
- Other recognized international economic frameworks where applicable
This initiative is designed to reduce financial barriers and support researchers from underrepresented and developing regions.
ABS Research Academy sponsored articles
ABS Research Academy will sponsor up to:

For selected sponsored articles: the full APC will be completely covered by ABS Research Academy.
